Boughton & Eastwell Cricket Club have set up a Pavilion Fund with the aim of replacing our pavilion within the next 10 years. Refurbishment of the existing pavilion in 2005 has made it wind and water tight, and we are extremely grateful to Brett Aggregates Ltd for providing us with £5,500 for this, and to John Lygo and Alan Burton for carrying out the work.

This refurbishment allows us 10 years to build up sufficient monies in the Pavilion Fund to either meet anticipated replacement costs of between £78,000 and £105,000 at today's prices, or more likely, enable us to make an application for a grant from one of the Lottery Funds.

In 2007 we are hoping to raise a minimum of £3,000 from a number of initiatives. These include:

Entering the B&ECC Fantasy Cricket League.
Sponsoring a player for the number of runs / wickets / catches they take during the season.
Sponsoring a match ball (which relieves the club from having to spend £10 per).
Donating £2 for every time the B&ECC team score 200+ runs in a match.
